Rachel has enjoyed a variety of roles at JFT including leading recruitment for Aish’s Jerusalem Fellowships programme and establishing Legacy Live Productions.
Rachel has held roles at key communal organisations including the office of the Chief Rabbi, where she launched and ran the Centre for Community Excellence. More recently she has been Director of Development at mental health charity Noa Girls.
Rachel’s connection to Aish started over 25 years ago, when she took a break from working in the fashion industry to join an Aish trip to Israel. Whilst there, one sunny morning on a beautiful Jerusalem hilltop, Rachel met her husband who was also a participation the trip. They have four wonderful daughters.
Rabbi Naftali Schiff has always been seized with this idea that I see as fundamental: that the impact we have through our programmes should not be transactional, but transformational. It shouldn’t be aimed at keeping the train on the track, it should be aimed at changing young people’s lives. Because that is how you really make a difference to the Jewish future.
