A generation ago, the approach to Jewish education and experience was akin to "one size fits all".
In 2026, we know that there are multiple paths of Jewish engagement.
A vibrant Jewish future demands that we develop diverse opportunities that allow Jews to choose the path that best resonates with them.
During these challenging times, Jewish Futures stands shoulder to shoulder with the rest of our community, and we are saddened by the rise in anti-Jewish hatred and vitriol in Great Britain. For centuries, Jews have made an invaluable contribution in all fields of British life, more often than not, as a result of Jewish values such as duty, tolerance and good citizenship.
As a family of Jewish educational charities, Jewish Futures pledges to re-double its commitment to providing young jews with inspiring educational and social opportunities to safeguard the future of Anglo-Jewry. We believe that a strong, resilient and vitalised Jewish community is a valuable asset for broader society; Society flourishes when people are grounded in identity and assume responsibility for the betterment of all.
At this critical juncture, we call on decent people of all faiths and none, to stand together in solidarity with the Jewish community and to combat all forms of racism and hatred. If you have experienced antisemitism and would like support from one of our educators, feel free be in touch. asktherabbi@jfutures.org

Rabbi Naftali Schiff has always been seized with this idea that I see as fundamental: that the impact we have through our programmes should not be transactional, but transformational. It shouldn’t be aimed at keeping the train on the track, it should be aimed at changing young people’s lives. Because that is how you really make a difference to the Jewish future.
